Technocrats have completely recalibrated the Covid meter to include only “cases” and not hospitalizations or deaths. Plus, the same old unreliable testing techniques are used to determine potential cases.
This slight-of-hand will now justify any and all draconian mandates that tyrants can dream up.
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is leading the charge, first by blowing off the Michigan Supreme Court’s order that she stop the mandates and secondly by ordering all bars and restaurants to collect names, telephone numbers and time of visits of all patrons.
This is contact tracing at its worst. Washington state first tried this months ago and immediately dropped it after massive public outrage. Unfortunately for Michigan citizens, Whitmer doesn’t care about public outrage.

In L. Frank Baum’s The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, the Wicked Witch of the East (WWE) was a nameless middle-aged, malevolent woman who tyrannized Munchkin Country’s eastern quadrant. I wonder if her name was Gretchen? The WWE possessed the magical silver slippers (later changed to ruby slippers) that Dorothy ultimately came to possess.
Whitmer is the perfect example of being “lawless” as opposed to being a “law-breaker”. She does not recognize that the law has anything to do with her as she thumbs her nose at everyone else and even the Michigan Supreme Court.
