Maimunah Mohd Sharif was formerly a city planner, but now she is the premier city planner for UN-Habitat, which curates the United Nations New Urban Agenda. A devout Muslim, the fact that Sharif would accept such a position demonstrates that Sustainable Development (aka Technocracy) is compatible with Islam.
The New Urban Agenda and leaders at the World Urban Forum say that the future of city living is micro housing where 250-400 square feet and a place at the communal table. This is what is meant by the buzz-word 'densification'.
Dubbed "Cities 2030, Cities for All: Implementing the New Urban Agenda", something is off-kilter at the U.N. The U.N. is increasingly being dominated by Islamic thought and personnel; this key forum is being held in a predominately Islamic nation and region; leading UN Habitat and presiding over the conference is Maimunah Mohd Sharif, a Muslim bureaucrat. Are global cities of the future to be subsumed by the Islamic world?

The United Nations is publicly sworn to overthrow capitalism and Free Enterprise by replacement with Sustainable Development, aka Technocracy. Global warming is the scare mongering tactic that has only one possible solution in the entire universe: Sustainable Development. No other solution (or problem) is offered.
After admitting to the mess it made with Common Core State Standards, Gates is moving on with a brand new experiment to reform education in America. Gates, a consummate Technocrat, wants "to see faster and lasting change in student achievement."
For oil-rich Dubai, money is no object and its Islamic dictatorship poses no impediment for Technocrats to create the most Technocracy-oriented city in the world. Indeed, the entire Islamic world is completely sold out to the UN's program of Sustainable Development, New Urban Agenda, Green Finance, etc., and seeks to be the leader in all of these area. This amply demonstrates that Technocracy and Islam are not rivals, but rather are highly symbiotic.
Figueres, the prime driver of the December 2015 global warming summit in Paris, now says that global corporations are buying into climate change rhetoric. This is partly the fruit of Figueres' Mission 2020 campaign (see video below).
